So this year has been a strange one, our areas band stands have stood empty, rehearsal rooms have been abandoned and one of the tasks that always put musicians in the Christmas mood, Christmas Caroling has had to be forgotten about. We have really missed getting together this year and having the opportunity to play for all you lovely people, but with good news on the horizon so the Government and Scientist say we hope

This month we say goodbye to Alex Evans, who has played a variety of brass instruments with us. He is moving on to an exciting new career in music teaching and already has a couple of choirs he is accompanying and students. He leaves us to take on new ventures and it is fair to say he will be a big miss as he is an excellent player and cornerstone of the band. Good luck
